- These are sad and hard to read comments. The trauma and violence from over managing labor and birth in the hospital is sad. If I became pregnant in the future and was refused a home birth choice I would have to free birth, without a midwife's support this would be difficult for me.

- "seemingly normal labor and delivery can quickly become life-threatening for both the mother and baby" in the hospital environment due the consistent routine of violence, incompetence and corruption from a system whose main objective is control and dominance.
